The fascinating world of science!
Science is amazing! Interesting! …and should be a part of everyone’s lives – young or old! That’s why here at Dr Ella Of Science we provide inquisitive little minds with intriguing fun experiments and learning environments to discover the wonders of the natural sciences.
I’m Ella and I’ve loved science since as young as I can remember. I studied biotechnology and have a PhD in molecular biology, but I’ve always loved the basics – the wonder of science! Whilst I’m a postdoctoral researcher investigating brain diseases, I’ve also spent the last two years teaching English to primary aged students and along with my own children have absolutely become enthralled with the idea of sharing science with inquisitive creative little minds!
I’ve also tried my very best to make this endeavour as sustainable as possible. Traditionally, science uses a lot of plastic and generates a lot of waste. I hope to avert this by utilising glass or recycled products where possible.

We offer regular science club meet ups for all ages of children (3-12 years) to explore the curiosities of the world around us. There’s groups for 3-5 year olds, 6-8 year olds and 9-12 year olds. You can attend however frequently you please and pay each time you come, or buy a multi-ticket and come whenever suits you.
